In the organisational notes for the general party congress of the socialists in 1902, Lenin writes:

Contacts and activity among sections of the population outside the working class … secondary schools, Gymnasia, theological seminaries, etc.? Nature of contacts with pupils? Attitude towards new phase of upsurge in movement  among them? Attempts to organise circles and study courses?
