Is this Stalin’s Luther moment?

We must discard the antiquated idea that only Europe can show us the way. There is dogmatic Marxism and creative Marxism. I stand by the latter.

    1. 3 August 1917 (between the two revolutions), at the sixth congress of the RSDLP, and in response to a suggestion that the Bolsheviks wait for the Europeans before constructing socialism in Russia.

      1. Okay. That makes everything clear. This just sounded quite weird to me at first because I know that Stalin opposed Mao’s, and more notably Tito’s, “national” communism.
